June Cann Management was founded in the early 70's and has been operating for more than 30 years as an agency representing actors and creative personnel in Australia and internationally.

Our founder, June Cann, worked in the intelligence gathering unit of the Far East Liason Office during WWII. After the war she trained and worked in continuity on documentaries and feature films throughout the 50's and 60's such as, On the Beach and The Eureka Stockade. She was called in to work at the Commonwealth Film Unit and the ABC on various projects. In the mid 60's, June began working as a theatrical agent at International Casting Services (ICS) for Gloria Payten.

In 1971 June began her own agency, June Cann Management, and over the next 30 years established herself internationally as one of the premier agents in Australia. June was instrumental in guiding and launching the careers of notable actors such as Jack Thompson, Bryan Brown and Nicole Kidman. This is a tradition the agency continues with the new generation of international successes, including Noah Taylor, Naomi Watts, Simon Baker, Aden Young, Rebecca Rigg and Kimberly Joseph.
